INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA Division III committee announced today the team and individual qualifiers for the 2012 women's cross country championship. While Kenyon College junior Jenna Willett already solidified her spot as an individual qualifier, the Ladies, as a team, learned of their inclusion with the delivery of Sunday's announcement.

For Willett, the appearance on the national stage is her second in as many seasons. For the team, the appearance is the fourth overall and third in the last six seasons.

In order to be eligible to participate in the championship race, teams and individuals had to qualify through their respective NCAA regional meets. Overall, 32 teams were selected to participate in the championship. The top two, seven-person teams from each of the eight regions automatically qualified. Sixteen other teams, including Kenyon, which placed fourth in Saturday's Great Lakes Regional Championship, were given at-large berths into the championship.

The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will host the championship on Saturday, November 17, at the LaVern Gibson Course in Terre Haute, Indiana.  The men's championship race will begin at 11 a.m. local time followed by the women's race at noon local time.
