TIFFIN, Ohio – The Kenyon College women's track and field team started its season at the Tiffin University Alumni Open this afternoon competing in the sprints and hurdles events at the Tiffin-Heminger Center.
The event was unscored as only a handful of Ladies participated.

Junior Emma Levant had the Ladies' best finish of the day taking second in the 400-meter hurdles event with a time of 1:10.42.

Leading the way in the 600-meter sprint event was Claire HarnEnz. The sophomore took third in 1:47.68.

Jonah Edwards placed fourth in the 400-meter sprint and fifth in the 200-meter sprint event. She ran the 400 in 1:02.52 and the 200 in 26.87.

Rounding out Kenyon's efforts were Subie Kyle and Gillian Blackwell. The duo took fourth and fifth place, respectively, in the 300-meter sprint competition. Kyle ran in a time of 44.93 while Blackwell clocked a 45.63.

The Ladies are off until 2015 when they will visit Ohio Wesleyan University January 16.
