CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kenyon College senior Ryan Funk recorded four event wins Saturday and steered the Lords swimming and diving team to a convincing 196-104 dual meet victory over rival Denison University. For his efforts, the North Coast Athletic Conference tabbed him as its Swimmer of the Week.

Funk's victories were split evenly between two individual events and two relay events. The first of those wins came in the meet-opening 200-yard medley relay. He joined Matthew Cooper, Trevor Manz and Percy Gates to post a winning time of 1:32.32.

Funk then captured his individual wins in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly by turning in respective times of 20.92 and 50.91.

In the meet's closing event, the 200-yard freestyle relay, Funk paired up with Joey Duronio, Gates and Wyatt Semenuk to win the race with a time of 1:23.86.

The conference award was the second for Funk, who first earned the honor at the conclusion of the first week of the 2013-14 season.
