Hannah Lobb finished in fourth place in the 100-yard freestyle Saturday night at
the NCAA Championships. She also swam a leg of the runner-up 400-yard free relay.

Emory University (Ga.) captured the national championship, its fifth straight and eighth overall in school history while Denison University took second. For Kenyon, it's the 35th straight year they have finished in the top five in the national meet.
The Ladies opened the final session with a pair of top-five finishes in the 1650-freestyle event.
Mariah Williamson had the top spot for Kenyon as she set a Kenyon record finishing in fourth in 16:45.22.
Alexa Korsberg followed one spot later touching the wall in 16:48.55.
Kenyon also got All-American finishes in the same race from
Sarah Lloyd who took 10th and
Julie Dierker who finished 12th.
Junior
Hannah Lobb turned in the Ladies' next-best finish in the 100-yard freestyle. The Auckland, New Zealand native touched the wall in 50.58. That was good for fourth place and the top time for the team this season.
Jenner McLeod also swam in the 100-freestyle and was the consolation winner in 50.75.
The 200-yard backstroke event followed and
Hannah Cooper claimed her seventh All-American honor touching the wall in 2:01.08.
Kenyon closed the individual competition in the 200-yard breaststroke and saw three Ladies earn All-American status.
Katie Kaestner finished in fifth while
Ellie Crawford placed eighth and
Julia Wilson took 12th.
Rounding out the night at the Championships was the 400-yard free relay. The team of Lobb, McLeod,
Haley Townsend, and
Megan Morris took the runner-up spot with a Kenyon-record time of 3:22.47. That was a season-best time for the Ladies.
Collectively, the 18 Kenyon national qualifiers earned 46 All-America honors in this year's championship. McLeod, a sophomore, led the way with six alone. It was the final event for seniors
Celia Oberholzer,
Hannah Cooper, and
Jacque Garcia. Oberholzer was a two-time national champion in the 100-yard backstroke while Cooper helped the Ladies to a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay earlier in the week.
