The Ladies had their highest-ever finish at Oberlin's Inter-Regional Rumble
on Saturday as Kenyon finished in third place.
RESULTS
OBERLIN, Ohio – Behind
Eleanor Tetreault's fifth-place individual mark, the Kenyon Ladies cross country team had their best-ever finish at Oberlin College's Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday finishing in third out of 29 teams.
Oberlin won the overall event while John Carroll University came in second.
Tetreault led the Ladies for the second consecutive event clocking a time of 22:27.7 on the 6k course. Second-year
Tate Serletti was next on the scoring list for Kenyon as she posted a mark of 22:50.1 which was good for 15th.
Grace Moses delivered the Ladies' next-best mark. She claimed a 21st-place spot with a time of 23:02.7. Sophomores
Quinn Harrigan and
Andrea Ludwig rounded out Kenyon's outstanding showing.
Harrigan finished in 36th with a time of 23:26.6 while Ludwig dialed up a 46th-place mark in 23:35.2
There was also an open race that followed the varsity run. Kenyon was able to finish in second out of 10 squads.
Delivering the best marks for the Ladies in the open race were
Madeline Frank,
Lily Valentine and
Susannah Davies who finished in fourth, seventh and eighth, respectively.
Kenyon will now gear up for the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship which will take place on October 28 at Oberlin.
