NCAC Championship History - Men's Swimming & Diving

NCAC Trophy

As a charter member of the Ohio Athletic Conference, the Kenyon College men's swimming and diving team claimed its first conference championship in 1938. Kenyon remained in the OAC until the 1984-85 season. From 1938 through 1984, the program won a total of 37 OAC Championships, including 31 straight championships from 1954-1984.

When the College became a charter member of the North Coast Athletic Conference in the 1984-85 season, the championship titles did not cease. Kenyon went on to win the first 12 NCAC Championships contested, bringing their remarkable streak to 43 consecutive conference crowns.

In the 1996-97 season, the streak came to and end as Kenyon was upset by rival Denison University, but since then the College has won 13 more NCAC championships.

Overall, Kenyon has a total of 63 conference championships to its name -- 37 Ohio Athletic Conference titles and 26 North Coast Athletic Conference titles.
