The 1956-57 men's swimming team was the first in the history of the sport at Kenyon to win four-consecutive conference championships, but not the last. In fact, when the seniors on the 1957 won their first Ohio Athletic Conference title as freshmen in 1954, it marked the beginning of the longest conference championship streak in NCAA history. It extended from the OAC to the North Coast Athletic Conference and included 43-consecutive titles.
