Despite the fact that she never trained with a high school team, Amy Heasley emerged as one of the most successful swimmers in NCAA swimming and diving history. In fact, she is still one of the all-time leaders in NCAA career championships, in all divisions, with 22. A 28-time All-American, Heasley set eleven NCAA Division III and numerous Kenyon records in her career. She was also the nation champion in the 200-yard butterfly four-consecutive years, a first in Ladies history.
