One of Kenyon's first standout football players, Burchell Rowe earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors in 1925 and 1926 as a fullback. As a junior, Rowe helped the Lords to a 6-2 record, which included five shutout victories and wins over Ashland College and the University of Akron. Overall, Rowe earned eight varsity letters: three each in football and track and field, and two in baseball.
