A record-setting goalie in field hockey and lacrosse, Cathie Herrick turned the Ladies' last line of defense into goalkeeping greatness. In field hockey, Herrick cracked the starting line-up as a junior and for her part in the team's 10-win improvement was named to the CFHCA All-America team, becoming Kenyon's first All-American in the sport. Her 696 career saves remain a Ladies field hockey record. Herrick's achievements are equally impressive on the lacrosse field, where she was a three-time All-NCAC first-team selection and posted an 8.71 goals against average with 432 saves.
