It is unlikely that legendary sharpshooter John Rinka's name will ever be bumped from the top of Kenyon's all-time scoring charts. Rinka, a three-time All-American and Academic All-American in 1970, compiled 3,251 career points - nearly 1,100 more than the No. 2 player on the list - for an astounding scoring average of 32.8 points per game, a mark that still ranks sixth all-time among all NCAA players. In 1970, the year he received the Naismith Award, which honors the nation's most outstanding senior male collegian six-feet or under, Rinka averaged 41.0 ppg.
