Kateri Mathews was the driving force behind four of the Ladies' national championship swim teams. In addition to winning two of her three career individual national titles in 1991, Mathews was named NCAA Division III Swimmer of the Year as a senior. Equally impressive was the fact that Mathews piled up a career total of 14 national relay titles and 27 All-America certificates. She broke five national records while at Kenyon and went on to compete in the Olympic trials.
