HIRAM, Ohio (October 12, 2011) The Hiram College Terriers wriggled off the Kenyon College Lords' leash with less than ten minutes remaining in Wednesday night's North Coast Athletic Conference men's soccer match. Hiram broke a 1-1 tie in the 81st minute and, in the process, dropped Kenyon to 5-7-1 and 2-3-0 in the NCAC with a 2-1 loss.
Ryan Greenhill scored for the Terriers (7-3-1, 2-2-0 NCAC) with 8:11 remaining in the contest and negated the goal sophomore
Edgar Arceo posted for the Lords shortly after halftime. With Kenyon trailing, 1-0, Arceo scored his first goal of the season - an unassisted number - just shy of the 52nd minute.
Arceo's score stood as the only time the Lords solved Hiram goalie Joe Rottinger. Rottinger came up with five saves and had his defense kick in another to keep Kenyon's offense from doing further damage.
The Lords are back on the road Saturday when they visit Allegheny College at 5 p.m.
