GRANVILLE, Ohio – Celia Oberholzer and Mariah Williamson combined to win five events for Kenyon College Saturday morning as the team defeated Denison University 166-128 at the Trumbull Aquatics Center. It was the second win in as many meets for the 2014 NCAA runner-up team.

The Ladies started the day with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay. With a time of 1:44.81, the team of Oberholzer, Hannah Cooper, Katie Kaestner, and Jenner McLeod earned an NCAA B-cut qualifying time.

Williamson claimed the squad's first individual win completing the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:15.57. She took the 200-yard freestyle race in 1:55.52 and the 500-yard freestyle with a B-cut time of 5:00.77.

Oberholzer helped Kenyon claim the 100-yard backstroke as she had an NCAA B-cut time of 57:22. She also went on to win the 200-yard backstroke in 2:07.38.

Kaestner had a pair of B-cut times in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke events. The junior completed the 100-yard event with a time of 1:04.81 and the latter in 2:22.26.

Freshman Kanchi Desai's 2:06.73 second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly was another NCAA B-cut qualifying time for the Ladies. Desai also took the top spot in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:10.68.

Cooper got in the mix with a victory in the 100-yard butterfly. The senior edged teammate Cecina Babich Morrow by a half second (57.91) for the win.

Maria Zarka rounded out Kenyon's efforts in the one- and three-meter diving events. She claimed the one-meter with a score of 281.33 and the other by 304.65. Her score in the three-meter event set a new school record eclipsing the mark of 302.33 set by Ann Kelley in the 1989-90 season.

The Ladies are back in action when they'll make the quick trip to Columbus to compete in the Ohio State University Invitational September 21.
