Tony Amolo scored two goals in Kenyon's 4-0 win over La Roche Sunday afternoon.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Tony Amolo scored twice as the 14th-ranked Kenyon College men's soccer team rolled to a 4-0 victory over La Roche College Sunday afternoon at the Carnegie Mellon University Soccer Field. This game was a part of the two-day, four-team CMU DoubleTree Invitational.
 
The Lords got on the board in the 19th minute as Grant Carney scored his first goal of the season on a header.
 
Amolo pushed the Lords' lead to 2-0 in the 27th minute as he rifled a shot to the near post after collecting a cleared ball.
 
Kenyon took a 2-0 lead into the second half before Amolo scored again, this time from Jeremiah Barnes in the 57th minute.
 
Stephen Margaria capped off the scoring effort in the 88th minute to put the Lords up 4-0.
 
The Redhawks were overwhelmed in the match as they only got off one shot on goal that came in the sixth minute. Kenyon out-shot La Roche 14-1.
 
The Lords will next visit Otterbein University September 5 in Westerville for a 5:30 p.m. start.
