With a 7-0 start to the season, Kenyon is off to its best start since the 1992 squad reeled off nine straight wins to open that year.
Tony Amolo got things going for the Lords in the 10th minute as he fired from just outside the 18-yard box and found the back of the net for his team-leading eighth goal of the year.
The Lords' defense was stout throughout the match limiting the Pioneers to just two shots on-goal. Marietta's Wesley Riley attempted both.
Nate Petrou tallied his first goal of the season in the 41st minute as he headed in a cross from
Alex Christoff to push the Lords' lead to 2-0.
Kenyon out-shot Marietta 20-2 in the match and held a 12-5 advantage in corner kicks.
Sam Clougher recorded his fifth shutout of the year while collecting two saves.
The Lords will return to action September 23 as they visit Capital University for a 4 p.m. match.
