Tony Amolo struck twice in the first half as No. 4 Kenyon College downed Otterbein University 3-0 Friday night in a non-conference men's soccer match at Clements Field.

The Lords got all the scoring they would need in the 16th minute as Amolo headed in a
Jeremiah Barnes corner kick.

Just 50 seconds later, Amolo scored again as he retrieved a long ball and beat one defender and then Cardinals goalkeeper Mack Stamper to push the Lords' lead to 2-0.

Kenyon continued its first-half onslaught as
Edgar Arceo came off the bench and in the 31st minute lasered a shot from 30 yards out.

The Lords out-shot the Cardinals 22-11 during the match.

Sam Clougher was stout defensively recording five saves in goal.

Kenyon will return to action September 7 as they travel to Heidelberg University for a 3 p.m. start.
