TIFFIN, Ohio – Josh Lee and Tony Amolo each scored as the No. 4 Kenyon College men's soccer team defeated Heidelberg University 2-1 Sunday afternoon.
 
The Lords have won their first four matches of the season, the last time being in 2008.
 
In the 23rd minute, Lee got Kenyon on the board with his first goal of the season.
 
Kenyon's offense out-shot Heidelberg's 11-3 in the first half.
 
Tony Amolo scored his team-leading sixth goal of the year in the 66th minute to push Kenyon's lead to 2-0.
 
The Student Princes cut into the Lords' advantage in the 77th minute as Christopher Koczak scored on an assist from Hamid Shariff.
 
It was the first goal surrendered by Kenyon's defense this season.
 
Heidelberg would get one more look to tie the match in the 79th minute but Sam Clougher saved a shot from Shariff.
 
Clougher had five saves in the game.
 
Kenyon held a 26-10 advantage in shots and 10-2 lead in corners.
 
The Lords will return to action September 14 against Centre College at 4 p.m. It will be the first home match of the season for Kenyon.
