GAMBIER, Ohio – For the second time in as many days, the Kenyon College women's swimming and diving team split and competed in two different meets. Saturday afternoon, half of the Ladies team cranked out a 125-70 home win over the Baldwin Wallace University Yellow Jackets. Saturday night, the rest of the Ladies upped their team total to 703.5 points and moved to fourth place in the three-day University of Louisville Invitational.

Against Baldwin Wallace, the Ladies swept all 12 swimming and diving events. Three different Kenyon swimmers won two individual events. Senior Kelsey Ewing was victorious in the 200-yard individual medley (2:17.87) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:19.74). Manz added a third win to her total by swimming a leg on Kenyon's winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:58.40), while DeBrosse did the same with the 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:47.92).

At Louisville, the Ladies continue to compete in a pool full of NCAA Division I teams including host Louisville, which leads the five-team standings with 1,409.5 points. Ohio University is second with 1,010 points and Illinois State University is third with 727 points.

Saturday's session at Louisville was the second of three. Seven swimming events were contested and the Ladies managed to rack up four top-five finishes.

Freshman Marysol Arce started things out with a fourth-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley by clocking in at 4:25.93. Two events later, Abby Wilson, another freshman, claimed fifth place in the 200-yard freestyle by finishing up in 1:50.06.

Kenyon's two other top-five finishes occurred in relay events. First, the 200-yard medley quartet of Caitlin Foley, Julia Wilson, Cecina Babich Morrow and Hannah Lobb clocked in at 1:45.65 and took fifth place. Following that, the Ladies had their best placement of the night with a third-place showing in the 800-yard freestyle relay. That group, which posted a time of 7:31.10, included Abby Wilson, Hannah Orbach-Mandel, Esraa Abdel Khalik and Mariah Williamson.
