Sophomore Crile Hart won the 100- and 200-yard backstroke events on Saturday as
the Ladies competed against NCAA Division I Michigan State.

EAST LANSING, Mich. – NCAA Division I Michigan State University won 191-109 against the Kenyon Ladies swimming team on Saturday in a dual meet held at McCaffree Pool.
The Ladies did not go without turning in multiple victories on this day. Kenyon notched seven event wins and totaled 13 top-three finishes overall.
Right from the get-go, the 200-yard medley relay team of
Crile Hart,
Makena Markert,
Racine Ross and
Abby Wilson posted a winning time of 1:44.59. A couple of events later, senior
Hannah Orbach-Mandel secured Kenyon's first individual win in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:53.13.
The ensuing event, the 100-yard backstroke, netted Kenyon's third win. Hart secured nine points as she touched the wall in 55.84.
Orbach-Mandel and Hart later were victorious in the 100 free and 200 back, respectively.
The Ladies' sixth win was delivered by
Scout Wilkins. She claimed a first-place mark in the 500 free with a time of 5:13.74.
In the last event of the afternoon, Wilson, Orbach-Mandel, Hart and
Emmerson Mirus tallied the team's last victory during the 400-yard freestyle relay. That quartet posted a time of 3:28.36.
Among the other solid finishes for Kenyon was Wilkins' third-place mark in the 1,000 free; Wilson's runner-up spot during the 50 free in which she was 0.02 seconds away from first;
Ana Dunn's third-place showing in the 400 individual medley as well as
Andrea Perttula's third-place mark in the 200 breaststroke.
In diving competition,
Madeline Carlson's 227.40 points on the three-meter board netted her a fourth-place mark.
The Ladies will return to action on November 9 when they travel to Columbus to face The Ohio State University at 6 p.m.
