Cooke's weekend leads to NCAC honors

CLEVELAND -- The North Coast Athletic Conference announced Claudia Cooke as this week's women's basketball athlete of the week Monday. Cooke recorded back-to-back double-doubles in the Ladies' home wins over Muskingum and Earlham.

In the Saturday matchup against Muskingum, she played 39 minutes, scoring 18 points, registering 12 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks, in the 83-77 victory.

On Sunday, Cooke continued where she left off in the 77-35 win against Earlham. The sophomore forward registered a season-high 19 points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks while also adding in three more assists.

Cooke and the Ladies return to conference play on Wednesday with a 6 p.m. matchup against Wittenberg University in Tomsich Arena.
