OBERLIN, Ohio -- The Kenyon College women's swimming and diving team, who was not competing at full strength as a portion of their roster was in Cincinnati, Ohio, battling the NCAA DI University of Cincinnati Bearcats, dominated their double-dual against Oberlin College and Ohio Northern University.
The Owls finished first in 13 of the 14 events in which they competed while also notching nine second-place finishes, earning a 181-88 win over the hosting Oberlin Yeowomen and a 194-61 victory against the ONU Polar Bears.
Kenyon claimed the top two spots in each of the first five events, going 1-2 in the 200-yard medley relay, the 1000- and 200-yard freestyles, the 100-yard backstroke, and the 100-yard breaststroke.

Patterson added wins in the 500-yard freestyle and the 400-yard freestyle relay and nearly added the 50-yard freestyle to her belt before finishing second. Wukitch followed up her 200-yard medley relay crown with individual victories in the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard butterfly. Cook, who was also part of the 200-yard medley relay title, bagged wins in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke races.
