Kenyon men collect CSCAA academic awards

GAMBIER, Ohio -- The Kenyon College Owls men's swimming and diving team earned both team and individual academic awards from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). Not only were the Owls declared a Scholar All-America Team, but eight members were named Scholar All-Americans.

Those Kenyon honorees who earned spots on the Scholar All-America First Team were Neil Abrahamson, Peter Dunson, Teo Jaworski, Ethan Manske, Roman Savage, Spencer Stluka, Kristof Szappanos, and Noel Tumbasz.

First Team Scholar All-America awards went to swimmers and divers who achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.50 and who qualified for the NCAA Championship.

This year's award was Manske's fourth, while Savage and Tumbasz are now three-time winners of the academic honor.

Overall, the 37 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Kenyon men's roster combined for a spring semester 3.55 team grade point average, which far surpassed the minimum 3.00 grade point average for Scholar All-America Team eligibility. In the fall, the team made the grade with a 3.47 grade point average.

The presentation of the team award marks the 20th consecutive year the Owls were recognized.
