Toan Indoor Track

Kenyon's award-winning Barrett A. Toan track occupies the north end of the Lowry Center. The track, which opened for competition in the winter of 2006, is 200 meters with six lanes and eight sprint lanes. The surface is Mondo Super X and is 14 mm in depth. The American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) recognized the track as its 2006 Facility of the Year.

Home to the men's and women's indoor track teams, Toan track also holds room for two sand pits and two pole vault boxes. Right next to the track are two drop-down cages for batting or golf practice. The entire track has perimeter netting to separate the infield from the running lanes. Netting can also split the infield in half for varsity practices, intramural use, or recreational games.
