ADHD Medical Exception

Beginning in August 2009 the NCAA has mandated that all student athletes with an ADHD prescription containing a banned substance have proper documentation that meets all the specified criteria. The most common of these substances are Adderall (amphetamine/dextroamphetamine) and Ritalin (Methylphenidate).

Any student athlete who has an ADHD prescription that contains a banned substance must fully complete the form below. Without proper documentation it may delay a return to participation or even result in suspension in the event of a positive drug test.
