Transportation policies related to 2021 intercollegiate athletics competitions during the COVID-19 pandemic

All staff, coaches, student-athletes and persons traveling with the team are expected to follow the expectations below:

Temperatures and Kinsa apps will be checked for all passengers prior to leaving campus.

Team meals:

No eating or drinking on the bus/van

Physical distancing of six feet when applicable

Drink with straw whenever possible

No eating out at a restaurant

Charter bus travel:

Bus capacity limited to half.

56 passenger bus = 27 people from Kenyon + driver

25 players with 2 coaches and no ATC

24 players with 2 coaches and ATC

First row of seats closed off

Seat by driver closed off

No one in aisle seats; seating only by window

No walking around on the bus during travel (exception for restroom)

Open windows when possible

Bus to be cleaned and disinfected prior to departure and upon return

Van capacity limited to less than half

No one in front passenger seat

What to do if a passenger becomes symptomatic during travel:

Locate an isolation space on site

Section off part of bus to maximize physical distancing, or
-
Send back to campus with someone who has been vaccinated or is within 90-day post-COVID window
