With previous coaching experience at the Division I level, Kyle Berg, now in his third season at Kenyon, shares a wealth of knowledge with the Lords program. Berg was a four-year member of Boston University's swim team and received his bachelor's degree in health sciences in May 2010.
After seeing the Terriers place fourth at the America East Conference Championships during his freshman campaign in 2007, Berg helped lift the team to a runner-up showing each of the next three seasons. Upon graduating, Berg remained in the Boston area and spent a semester as an intern strength and conditioning coach at Harvard University.
Berg also spent time coaching at STAR Aquatics, a USA Swimming club team in High Point, North Carolina. He is a veteran of the summer camp scene, having worked the United States Military Academy and Harvard Technique camps.
Berg began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant with the Roosevelt High School varsity girls team and the Hyde Park Stingrays summer team in his hometown of Hyde Park, New York.
Since arriving at Kenyon, Berg has played a major role in helping guide the Lords to a NCAA Championship (2013) and an NCAA runner-up finish (2012).Â
