Brittany Stawovy

Brittany Stawovy was hired on to the Owls staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2023.

Stawovy joins the Kenyon crew after spending the last two years as a graduate assistant coach at Seton Hill University, an NCAA Division II institution in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. During those two seasons, the Griffins generated a combined record of 39-25, including a 26-18 mark within Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play.

While at Seton Hill, Stawovy handled basketball operations, as well as taught skills, developed practice drills, and trained players in a one-on-one setting. Off the court, she managed player academics, travel, and team community service efforts.

Prior to receiving her master’s degree in innovative instruction in May of 2023, Stawovy attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she graduated in 2021 with degrees in secondary education and English literature. Away from the classroom, she was a two-time captain of the Bobcats basketball team and was a four-time member of the Mountain East Conference All-Academic Team. A 5-8 guard, Stawovy led the Bobcats in assists during both her junior and senior seasons.

A native of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, Stawovy possesses additional coaching experience working multiple camps, as well as taking on duties as both an assistant and head coach in the AAU ranks.
