Kenyon College Athletics

Alan Kavanaugh enters his eighth year at Kenyon College after being hired in July 2018 as the athletic department’s director of equipment operations/facility and event coordinator.
 
A 2011 graduate of Otterbein University, Kavanaugh served as the assistant facility supervisor of the Clements Recreation Center from 2011-17 before moving into the lead supervisor role over the past year.   
 
In addition to his duties at Otterbein, Kavanaugh worked numerous other events including the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) softball and baseball tournaments and many Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) basketball, football, lacrosse and wrestling events.
 
Kavanaugh graduated from Otterbein with a degree in sports management and was a four-year letter-winner on the Cardinals men’s basketball team.
