Casey Coughlin joined the department as a part-time Athletics Communications Assistant after being hired in the fall of 2023.
At his full-time job, he serves as the Marketing and Communications Specialist for the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE) at The Ohio State University. There, he acts as the department's social media manager, photographer, videographer, editor, graphic designer, event manager, and many more roles while managing the department's website and developing all internal and external communications materials for the unit.
Coughlin graduated from Ohio State in December 2022 with an undergraduate degree in Strategic Communications and earned Summa Cum Laude honors. During his undergraduate career, he gained valuable experience in Ohio State's sports media relations program and even started his own club. He is a native of Lakewood, Ohio and currently lives in Columbus, Ohio.
