Chris Klaiber

Chris Klaiber

Chris Klaiber was hired as an assistant coach for the Owls in August of 2025. He joined the Kenyon staff after spending the previous season at Oberlin College, where he focused his work on the team’s goalies and was a part of the 2025 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Coaching Staff of the Year.

Prior to his time at Oberlin, Klaiber served as a head lacrosse coach for two collegiate programs. From 2017 to 2021 he ran the program at Monmouth College, an NCAA Division III institution in Monmouth, Illinois. He took over a program that was in its second year and doubled the size of the roster, while improving winning percentages each season.

After Monmouth, Klaiber became head coach at Aquinas College, an NAIA institution in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In three seasons there he finished with a combined 30-16 record and had each one of his squads nationally ranked within the top-10.

Klaiber earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Mount Saint Mary’s University and then went on to Adams State University, where he worked as a graduate assistant lacrosse coach and gained his master’s degree in human performance and physical education.
