Connor O’Brien joined the men's lacrosse staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2024-25 academic year.

For the previous two seasons, O’Brien served as a graduate assistant coach at Carthage College, an NCAA Division III institution in Kenosha, Wisconsin. During his time there, he helped the Firebirds to a combined 19-15 record, working with various positions, but with a focus on offense.

In May 2024, O’Brien earned his master’s degree from Carthage in Education: Sports Leadership. Prior to that, he attended NCAA Division II University of Indianapolis, where he played lacrosse and graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.

On the field, O’Brien appeared in 43 career collegiate games and was a two-time Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) All-Academic award recipient. He was a part of one GLVC Championship (2021) and two appearances in NCAA Championship tournaments (2021, 2022).

O’Brien, a native of Dublin, Ohio, will take on duties as the Owls offensive coordinator. He also counts previous experience as a coach with Alpha Lacrosse in Milwaukee and with Resolute Lacrosse in Columbus.
