Devin Carillo

Hired at Kenyon in the summer of 2025, Devin Carillo will serve as an assistant football coach with duties focused on the team’s defensive backs.

Over the last decade, Carillo honed his coaching skills at both the high school and collegiate levels. He began coaching at Eagle Rock High School in Los Angeles, California and, more recently, coached at Damien High School in La Verne, California. Between those two stops, he coached at three different universities.

Carillo, a graduate of University of La Verne, stayed at his alma mater to coach for four seasons. From there he spent two seasons at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. That run was followed by a year at Ottawa University of Arizona, where he worked for one season.

The bulk of Carillo’s coaching duties was with defensive backs, but he also gained plenty of experience with linebackers and special teams. Additionally, he’s working toward full certification as a Master of Sports Performance Coach.

Carillo earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from La Verne and then obtained his master’s degree in sports administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State.
