Jake Bonofiglio served at Kenyon as a part-time assistant coach during the 2024-25 women’s basketball season. In the summer of 2025, he was hired as the Owls full-time assistant coach.
His work at Kenyon in 2024-25 included, but was not limited to, practice planning, scouting, and the creation and implementation of offensive schemes, sets, and in-game calls.
Before arriving in Gambier, Bonofiglio worked as the varsity assistant coach and junior varsity head coach at Ohio Wesleyan University. In his two seasons at Ohio Wesleyan, Bonofiglio helped steer the Battling Bishops to a pair of North Coast Athletic Conference championships, as well as a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances.
Before reaching the collegiate level, Bonofiglio spent about five seasons coaching and tackling athletic administrative duties at the middle school and high school levels.
He’s a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State University and owns a master’s degree in athletic administration from Ohio University.
