Nick Massie joined the Kenyon College athletic training staff in August of 2017.
Massie earned his master's degree in exercise physiology with an emphasis in sports sciences from Florida State University in May 2017. His undergraduate degree in athletic training was earned at Ohio University in August 2014.
He has served in the past as a certified athletic trainer for Camp Woodward, an extreme sports camp in Pennsylvania from summer 2014 to summer 2017. He was also assistant medical director at the camp during the summer of 2017. Additionally, he spent a year at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where he was the main athletic trainer for men's lacrosse, football, women's soccer and track and field.
He holds professional CPR/AED certifications from the American Red Cross and American Heart Association and is a part of the National Strength and Conditioning and National Athletic Trainer's Associations.
