Kenyon College Athletics

Shawn Gamble joins the athletic's communications staff as an assistant director prior to the 2026-27 academic year.

Gamble comes to Gambier from Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, where he served as an intern for sports information over a span of three years for Juniata College. During his time at Juniata, Shawn developed and executed marketing campaigns for student-athletes, including three women's volleyball national championships, two DIII Honda Player of the Year Awards, 26 All-America honors, eight NCAA Tournament appearances and numerous regional, conference, and academic awards. He also served as a content creator, broadcast producer, and play by play analyst for over 400 contests during his time at Juniata. 

His experience stretches beyond Juniata, completing internships in media management and communications at Radnor Valley Country Club (2024, 2025), and Rosapenna Golf Resort (2023) in Donegal, Ireland. 

In 2026, Gamble was one of 200 participants selected for the NCAA Career in Sports Forum, a professional development initiative hosted annually at the NCAA National Office in Indianapolis across Division I, Division II and Division III. 

Shawn graduated cum laude from Juniata College in 2026 with a degree in Sport Management and Media.
