Despite heading into the game's final minutes trailing Ohio Wesleyan, the Kenyon women were in control for the majority of the contest. The Ladies started things out with leads of 8-3 and 16-7. The lead increased to as many as 13 points before halftime arrived with Kenyon holding a 41-33 advantage.
Thanks to some strong play from Emily Julius, the Battling Bishops put together a solid run to start the second half and tied the game up at 46-46 with 15:03 left on the clock. Following that, the score was tied two more times and the lead changed hands three times before Kenyon went on its game-clinching run.
