CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Kenyon College (13-3) set a new program mark for consecutive wins with its 8-0 victory over University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Thursday. The victory was Kenyon's eighth in a row, breaking a trio of seven-game winning streaks that had been attained in the past, most recently during last season. The Ladies closed out their spring break trip by smothering Wentworth Institute of Technology 16-1.

Amanda Coyle came up three batters later and smacked a bases-clearing double to push Kenyon's lead to 5-0.
Hayley Howard and
Madi Maldonado added run-scoring hits later in the frame.
The Panthers found just two hits during the game as Stark continued her superb early-season pitching. UPB's Amber Fox got a lead-off single to start the game but didn't get another hit until the top of the fifth from catcher Courtney Schuler.
In six innings pitched, Stark struck out a season-high 12 batters.
The Ladies' final run of the game came in the sixth when
Danielle Elizarraraz hit a sacrifice fly to right scoring
Lindsey Susolik.
Maldonado and O'Connor led Kenyon with a pair of hits.
GAME TWOKenyon ended its trip to Florida with a 16-1 drubbing of Wentworth. It was the biggest margin of victory since the 2009 squad defeated Bethany Lutheran 18-0 March 11.
Three Leopard errors in the first inning provided all the scoring the Ladies needed to win the contest.
Liz Paterra reached on an error by the second baseman which allowed Maldonado to score. Stark scored later on a wild pitch before Paterra rounded home on another WIT error.
O'Connor pushed Kenyon's lead to 5-0 in the second with a two-run bomb to left field.
The Ladies added three more runs in the third off the bat of Maldonado who drove in Howard, Coyle, and
Toni Miller.
Wentworth's lone run of the game came in the fourth as Liz Glavin homered.
Kenyon closed the game with eight more runs in the fourth. The inning was highlighted by Maldonado and Stark who each hit two-run singles.
Sylvie Thomas (7-1) earned the win scattering four hits and striking out six.
Maldonado led the Kenyon offense going 3-for-3 with five RBI and adding two runs. Stark went 3-for-4 while Miller, Coyle, and Thomas each had two hits.
Next up for the Ladies is a home date against Otterbein University March 18 at 3:30 p.m.
