Kenyon and DePauw will meet for the third time in the NCAC Tournament February 26
when they play in the semifinal round.

TOURNAMENT SITE
GAMBIER, Ohio – The third-seeded Kenyon Ladies will be making their 11th North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Tournament semifinal appearance in the last 12 seasons Friday night when they face off against second-seeded DePauw University. The game will be played at top-seeded Denison University in nearby Granville.

The game also marks the third time Kenyon takes on DePauw in the postseason tournament. The Tigers won the previous two matchups in 2013 and 2014.

These two teams met in the regular season on a pair of occasions with the Ladies winning 60-53 at home on January 9 and the Tigers taking a 52-39 victory two weeks ago in Greencastle, Indiana.

Kenyon enters the contest on a three-game winning streak following its 65-52 quarterfinal win over Hiram College this past Tuesday. The Ladies were led by sophomore post Ifeoma Archimalo's 16 points. In addition chalking up a 26-16 advantage for points scored in the paint, the Ladies' bench was superb, outscoring the Terriers 31-15. Kenyon also held a lopsided 17-4 advantage in second-chance points.

Despite having just one player averaging double-digit point totals this season (Bailey Dominguez at 10.5 ppg), the Ladies' offensive strength lies in their rotation. Seven other players average at least 4.4 points per game.

Defensively, the Ladies allow 56.4 points per game while limiting their opponents to 36.2 percent shooting. Both of those marks rank fourth in the NCAC.

On the flip side, the Tigers come into this semifinal game on a seven-game winning streak. DePauw defeated Wittenberg University 56-46 in the quarterfinal round.

The Tigers boast one of the best offenses in the league. They are second in scoring offense (62.5 ppg) and field goal percentage (.418) while ranking third in free throw percentage (.708) and three-point field goal percentage (.301).

Sophomore Emily Budde leads the Tigers with 13.5 points per game, which is seventh in the NCAC. DePauw also relies upon Maya Howard, who scores 9.9 per game, while Emily Keller adds 7.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per contest.

On the defensive side of the ball, DePauw is equally as good. They lead the conference in scoring defense, allowing just 48.5 points per game. The Tigers are also second in field goal percentage defense (.344) and third in steals (9.4 spg).

Ticket prices for the semifinal-round game will be $7 for adults, $5 for fans with an NCAC Guest Pass and $5 for children and students without an NCAC institution ID. Students who present a valid NCAC institution ID at the gate will be admitted free of charge.
