No. 8 Kenyon blanks Catholic 3-0

PITTSBURGH, Penn. – Woo Jeon and Oliver Wynn each tallied a goal and an assist as the No. 8 (NSCAA) ranked Kenyon men's soccer team earned a 3-0 win over Catholic University of America on Saturday afternoon. The non-conference match was played at Carnegie Mellon University's soccer field.

In the match, the Lords held the Cardinals to two shots on goal while capitalizing on their opportunities in the contest.

The Lords didn't take long to increase their lead after halftime.

A little over eight minutes in, senior Dalton Eudy headed home a pass to push Kenyon's lead to 2-0.

Wynn then capped off the scoring in the 65th minute. Jeon and Brice Koval assisted on the goal which saw the ball get passed from the far post and finished by the junior midfielder.

Catholic had three straight good looks starting at the 84-minute mark to try and cut into a 3-0 deficit. Tyler Martin hit the crossbar and later got two shots off on Sam Clougher but both were saved.
