Oberlin never got to within three again, though, as the Ladies responded with a 4-1 run and later won 25-17.
The two teams were knotted up 14-14 in the second set after a Sara Chang kill that ended a 4-1 run for Oberlin. Kenyon coach
Amanda Krampf then called timeout and the Ladies responded. An 11-0 run by the Ladies ended the second set as Miller tallied three kills while the Yeowomen committed five errors.
Up 2-0, Kenyon then dominated the third set winning 25-6. Riley's kill made pushed the Kenyon lead to 6-0 forcing another Oberlin timeout. This break in the action didn't faze the Ladies though. Seventeen of the next 21 points went to the Ladies and they moved ahead 23-4. Donnelly and Miller each tallied three kills in that stretch.
Next up for Kenyon is a trip to Denison University tomorrow for another NCAC match starting at 1 p.m.
