In the opening set, Oberlin had 14 kills and a .179 hitting percentage compared to nine kills and a .059 Kenyon hitting percentage, but the service game was a difference maker for Kenyon. The third set was closer for Kenyon, who fell 25-20. The Owls hitting percentage was only .094, but Kenyon's defense tallied three blocks compared to Oberlin's two.

Oberlin dominated set four as they won 25-13, ending the match ahead three sets to one.

Kenyon was led by junior Lindsey Abramson, who is putting together a tremendous season, as she finished with 11.5 points and 10 kills on a .280 hitting percentage. Blakemore added 8.5 points with a team-leading five service aces.
