The night began with the 200-yard freestyle relay, where the Kenyon A-team of Kate Bogan, Gwen Eisenbeis, Lisa Torrecillas-Jouault, and first-year Julia Mascarenhas finished second in 1:33.19, a time under the NCAA 'B' cut for qualification. Kenyon's B-team also scored, taking ninth in 1:36.62.

All four swims cleared the NCAA standard.

Two events later, the Owls scored a runner-up finish as sophomore Kelsey Van Eldik took second in the 200-yard individual medley, touching in 2:03.64, an NCAA 'B' cut and the fastest Division III time of the evening. Junior Ashlyn Widmer added a fifth-place finish in 2:05.19, also under the NCAA cut. First-year Nora Kortuem placed ninth with a time of 2:08.32.
