Fifteen Owls earn CSCAA academic honors

GAMBIER, Ohio -- The Kenyon College Owls women's swimming and diving team earned both team and individual academic awards from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). Not only were the Owls declared a Scholar All-America Team, but 15 members of the squad were named Scholar All-Americans.

The Kenyon honorees who earned spots on the Scholar All-America First Team were Kate Bogan, Nora Lee Brown, Kate Dunagan, Gwen Eisenbeis, Sofia Giordano, Maggie Grespin, Molly Haag, Norah Johnson, Nora Kortuem, Afsana Rawlins, Amelia Stevenson, Lisa Torrecillas-Jouault, and Ashlyn Widmer. Second Team honors went to divers Lucy Cassell-Kelley and Nadia Milovich.

First Team Scholar All-America awards were earned by swimmers and divers who achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.50 and who qualified for the NCAA Championship. Second team awards went to student-athletes who achieved the same 3.50 grade point average, or better, and who reached an NCAA 'B' time standard or competed at an NCAA Regional or Zone Diving qualifier.

With this year's awards, both Haag and Torrecillas-Jouault became four-time winners, while Bogan, Cassell-Kelley, Eisenbeis, and Widmer became three-time honorees.

Overall, the 36 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Kenyon women's roster combined for a spring semester 3.59 team grade point average, which far surpassed the minimum 3.00 grade point average for Scholar All-America Team eligibility. In the fall, the team made the grade with a 3.64 grade point average.

The presentation of the team award marks the 20th consecutive year the Owls were recognized.
