Record run launches Greville to NCAC weekly honor

CLEVELAND – Senior sprinter Josh Greville has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week after delivering a record-breaking performance in Kenyon's season opener at the Tiger Opener hosted by Wittenberg University. The honor marks the first Athlete of the Week award of his career.

Greville highlighted Kenyon's strong showing this past weekend with a standout run in the 400 meters, clocking an outstanding 49.45. Not only did the senior post a new personal best, surpassing his previous mark of 49.82, but he also rewrote the Kenyon indoor record books. His time broke the program's long-standing record of 50.97, set by Noah Winters back in 2014.

Against a field of 27 runners, Greville finished eighth overall while becoming the first Owl ever to dip under 50 seconds indoors.
