Kenyon men earn recognition for academic success

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches released today its list of Team Academic Award winners, recognizing exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year. A total of 283 men's collegiate teams, across all NCAA and NAIA divisions, earned the award, including the Kenyon College Owls.

The 2024-25 Kenyon team, directed by head coach Travis Wall, had 34 student-athletes combine to chalk up a team grade point average of 3.35, which surpassed the baseline of 3.00 required for recognition.

On the field, during the 2024 season, the Owls posted a 13-3-5 record, including a 6-2-0 mark in North Coast Athletic Conference play. The Owls earned an at-large berth in the 2024 NCAA Division III Tournament and made it to the third round before bowing out.

The Kenyon men's soccer program has now won the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award five times.
