Corey Headley joined the Owls' coaching staff in Feb. 2022 and begins his first season as the offensive coordinator.
Headley comes to Kenyon after a two-year stint at Division I Gardner-Webb University, where he coached the tight ends and served as the director of football operations for the Runnin' Bulldogs.
Before joining the Gardner-Webb staff, Headley spent time at Christopher Newport University where he coached the wide receivers and served as the Captains' recruiting coordinator, a role he previously held at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. While serving as a graduate assistant at Division II Carson Newman University, he worked with the wide receivers.Â
As a player, Headley played wide receiver at Carson Newman, where he played in the conference tournament quarterfinal and semifinal games for the Eagles.
During his coaching career, Headley coached six all-conference selections and a conference champion, which went on to make an appearance in the NCAA playoffs.
Headley holds a bachelor of arts in education from Carson Newman.
