The 2019 season will be David Angell’s first as an assistant coach with the Kenyon program. He will coach defensive backs and serve as the team's video coordinator.
Prior to coming to Kenyon, Angell spent the previous seven seasons as a high school football coach in the state of Ohio. He was the defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator at both Tri-Valley High School in Dresden (2018) and Westland High School in Galloway (2016-2018). His coaching career got underway in 2013 at his alma mater, New Albany High School, where he took on a variety of duties including working with quarterbacks, running backs, linebackers, and safeties during a four-year period.
Angell has collegiate coaching experience with Ohio Dominican University, where he served as a defensive quality control coach in the spring of 2018.
Angell graduated from The Ohio State University in the winter of 2017 with a degree in biology.
