Hired in April of 2018, Dylan Berardelli joined the Lords' staff as the team's running backs and tight ends coach. Heading into the 2019 campaign, Berardelli will coach the offensive line, coordinate the run game and lead the recruiting efforts of the program. He came to Kenyon after working as an assistant coach for two seasons at Western New England University.
At Western New England, he served as the Golden Bears' offensive line and tight ends coach. His additional duties included serving as the team's game-day recruiting coordinator and as the junior varsity team's offensive coordinator for part of the 2017 season.
During those two seasons, the Golden Bears posted a combined 19-4 record and won consecutive conference championships to go along with consecutive appearances in the NCAA playoffs. In 2016, the Golden Bears went 11-1 and ranked No. 21 nationally in scoring offense and No. 18 in rushing yards.
Within in his position groups, Berardelli coached a total of six all-conference players, one all-region honoree and a preseason All-American.
Prior to kicking off his coaching career, Berardelli was a four-year starter at left guard while at Hamilton College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics. He was voted team captain his senior season and was named to the All-NESCAC second team.
The Dalton, Pennsylvania native previously gained coaching experience as an assistant during 2016 spring practices at Hamilton. He also coached at the Penn State Elite Football Camp and as a volunteer assistant at Old Forge High School in Old Forge, Pennsylvania.
