Dylan Hyatt heads into his first season with Kenyon in 2023 after being hired as the team's defensive backs coach and video coordinator.

Hyatt joins the Owls after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Anderson University (IN). While at Anderson, an NCAA Division III institution, Hyatt worked with the defensive backs during his one-year stint with the Ravens. Over the 2022 season, the team ranked second in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) with 14 interceptions and third with 6.6 yards allowed per pass attempt. His duties included coaching and developing the Ravens' defensive secondary, assisting with game planning, scouting, film analysis, academics, and social media.

Originally from Brazil, Indiana, Hyatt is familiar with the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) after playing at DePauw University for four years, from 2017-2021. During his time with the Tigers, Hyatt was a two-time All-NCAC defensive back, a one-time All-Region defensive back, and the team's Most Valuable Player on DePauw's 2021 NCAC Championship squad.

While at DePauw, Hyatt worked at Northview High School over the summers of 2018 and 2019. He again worked with defensive backs, assisting with film study, drills, and offseason physical programs.

A 2021 graduate of DePauw, Hyatt earned his Bachelor of Arts after majoring in communication.
